Mega Cultural Event organized by Andhra Pradesh Fine Arts in association with HITECHindia, Kuwait, on 2 June 2002, was a Great Success. Over 16 Telugu Film and TV Stars and Technicians performed to the enjoyment of around 2000 highly enthusiastic audience in the Qadsiya Sports Club Auditorium in Kuwait. Event was so successful that many people had to return homes without seeing the Event due to lack of seats.    

The Event was organized under the Patronage of Mr. Jamal Al Nafisi, Al Qadsiya Sports Club Management, Dr.Abdul Aziz Sultan, Chairman, Kuwait Friendship Society and H.E.Swashpawan Singh, Ambassador of  India, with an objective to further enhance Cultural Exchange between People of Kuwait and India.

The Mega Event was inaugurated by lighting of Traditional Lamp by Mr. Seraj Al Baker, Secretary General, KFS, Mr.Ram Rattan, First Secretary, Embassy of India and Mr. M.V.Babji Rao, President and CEO, HITECHindia and APFA. 

Over 2000 audience in packed auditorium enjoyed this Mega Event by very famous Telugu Film and TV stars from Andhra Pradesh, who came to Kuwait through Raja Events, Hyderabad, which is lead by popular actor Shivaji Raja. APFA specially thanks Mr. Sridhar Babu from Dubai for coordinating this Mega Film Star visit to Kuwait.    

This star studded filmi team from Hyderabad included popular Film and TV stars; Jhansi, Raasi, Smitha, Anita, Shilpa, Shivaji Raja, Nagendra Babu, Ali, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, M.S. Narayana and the famous mimicry artist Hari Kishan

This is the First Time Personalities from Andhra Pradesh Film World performed in Kuwait in a large Team. There are around 70,000 people from the Green and Hitech State of Andhra Pradesh, living in Kuwait.

HITECHindia and APFA will be organizing many more similar Events in the future, for the enjoyment of this large community from Andhra Pradesh in Kuwait.    

APFA is a small team of 4 families that includes Mr. M.V. Babji Rao and Mrs. Revati Babji Rao; Mr. Ch. Rajasekhar and Mrs. Padma Rajasekhar; Mr. A.G.Prasad and Mrs. Shanti Prasad; Mr. Phani Nandula and Mrs. Mamatha Phani.
